“Detention conditions are degrading: overcrowded, unsanitary spaces, lack of privacy, violence, poor access to medical care, scarce psychological support, and very few activities or training opportunities. Isolation in these conditions causes serious harm.”
From idea to action
I have been working in prisons for 8 years. Today, I feel the need to speak out against my sense of powerlessness in the face of an inhumane prison system that oppresses instead of repairing. With this project, I make visible a cause close to my heart and financially support the nonprofit I work for in carrying out concrete projects in prison.
Fashion is a powerful form of expression—visible, accessible, and universal. I chose to use it as resistance, pushing against dominant narratives. I believe deeply in connection, mutual respect, tolerance, and solidarity.
I am not alone in carrying this message. An entire community brings it to life by wearing the t-shirt. Thanks to you, this project becomes a collective and committed act🖤.

Behind this wall, Lives...
On the back of the t-shirt is a photograph by Estelle Parewijck, taken outside Saint-Gilles Prison in Brussels.
This image is inspired by the “Follow Me To” series by photographer Murad Osmann, known for his iconic Instagram shots holding his wife’s hand around the world.
Here, the concept symbolizes not travel, but the gesture of extending a hand to another.
FAQ
Transparency: Where the Money Goes?
Each t-shirt costs €30. Half (€15) goes directly to an association that works with prisoners. The remainder covers production and VAT.
I commit to total transparency: on Instagram, I will share exactly how each euro is used. Subscribe to follow the impact of your support.
How we make our t-shirts?
The t-shirts are from the Russell brand, renowned for their quality and durability. The screen printing is carried out, through the Waltex company, by Bootlegz Laboratory, whose workshop is based in Anderlecht.
Choosing your size & caring for your t-shirt
The t-shirts are unisex and have a relaxed fit. To make them last, we recommend washing them inside out at 30 °C and avoiding the tumble dryer.
Stay Connected & Follow the Impact
On this site, I regularly share: the number of t-shirts sold, the amounts donated and the evolution of the community.
On the Instagram account, I intend to share my field observations on the prison reality nourished by my exchanges with the incarcerated people but also the people who work in prison such as the medical team, the agents, the registry, the psycho-social service.
